All timber transported in Brazil must have a forest ranger who proves its origin and adherence to federal laws, bearing in mind the correct use of renewable natural resources. Customers can choose between two kinds of finishes: transparent paint, which keeps the natural aspect of the wood, or matt paint. Any kind or finish can be applied to hardwoods, either varnish or paint.

The casings are made from excellent-quality fine hardwoods, with moisture content between 8% and 12%. Before or right after the installation of the casings, a protection product must be applied to the wood to make it weather-resistant, so as to prevent stains and warping. For aesthetics sake and good performance of the products, when painting is done, care should be taken not to let paint run to the hardware, tracks, rubber fittings, and other sealing accessories. Do not use chemicals like soda, acids and solvents that may damage the wood and / or hardware. Use only graphite powder to lubricate cylinders and locks. Do not use water-base paints (either as primer or finish) on laminated plywood or MDF sheets. In addition to jeopardizing the good functioning of the door, the use of water-base paints will void the warranty given by the manufacturer.
